1 Years On Campus Postgraduate Pathway Programme

For students who do not meet the academic and English language requirements for a Master’s degree.
Preparing students for direct entry to a range of postgraduate degrees such as Accounting and Finance, Economics, and Risk and Investment Management at Queen's University Belfast.

On campus and online study options

  • This program is available to study either on campus or online – giving students the flexibility to choose what’s best for them.
  • If your student starts online and is then able to travel to the UK, they’ll be able to transfer to an on-campus program in January or March/April 2022. They’ll need to meet any visa requirements and demonstrate good attendance and performance during their studies online.
  • If your student applies for an Online Extended program, they’ll be offered an Online Academic English plus Online or on-campus academic pathway study plan.

  • Progress to a range of postgraduate degrees including Queen's MBA and Accounting and Finance.
  • Study real-world case studies from the international business environment.
  • Experience the Financial Trading room with 12 Bloomberg terminals and software used by professionals in the industry.
  • Continue learning outside of the classroom through interactive field trips, which have included visiting the Northern Ireland Assembly and local industry.
  • Keep up with the latest developments in Finance through international journals.

Academic requirements

  • Pass in an undergraduate degree in any subject from a recognised institution or Higher Education Diploma (3-5 years) with acceptable grades in any subject from a recognised institution. Applicants must have previously studied modules in either statistics, mathematics, finance, economics or calculus with good grades.

English language entry requirements

  • 3 Terms: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent.
