It is increasingly important that marketing professionals have a strong understanding of the various digital channels available and how to optimise the use of these channels in order to attract customers to their companies and drive sales.
This short postgraduate course is designed to introduce you to a range of key marketing strategies and concepts, and the practical skills needed to implement these techniques. You will study topics such as:
The external context in which international businesses operate and the opportunities and challenges posed
The internal processes that occur within a consumer’s mind and how to choose corresponding marketing strategies
The key elements that marketers must integrate to establish and sustain service excellence and provide customer value
Alongside developing specialist knowledge, you will also improve your skills in problem solving, communication and research. At the end of your course, there will be the opportunity to progress onto a Postgraduate Diploma or the full Masters.

Entry Requirements
We know that many people from non-traditional backgrounds would succeed on our courses! That’s why we offer two different entry routes, taking into account your prior work experience and relevant qualifications. You will also need to meet our English language requirements.
Additionally, you will need to pass your first assignment set within your two-week induction period of the course in order to continue with your studies.
Academic entry route
In order to satisfy the academic entry route requirements for our PG Cert Global Digital Marketing, as a minimum you must have an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a relevant Level 6 professional qualification.
Work experience entry route
In order to satisfy the work experience entry route requirements for our PG Cert Global Digital Marketing, as a minimum you must have at least five years’ relevant work experience in marketing.
English language requirements
As our courses are delivered in English, a high proficiency with English is required. If English is not your first language, your English ability should be equivalent to an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5. Don’t worry if you don’t hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification – we offer a free online English test to assess your proficiency.
You don’t need to prove your English ability if you are a national of, or have completed a qualification equivalent to a UK degree
The PG Cert Global Digital Marketing is made up of the following modules and, upon completion, is equal to a total of 60 credits at Level 7.
Level 7 modules:
International Business Environment (10 credits)
Marketing in a Global Economy (10 credits)
Service Marketing (10 credits)
Consumer Behaviour in the Digital Age (20 credits)
