- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in biology, biochemistry, computer science, mathematics, statistics or closely related field. Recommended that students have most of the following: 1 year of Biology, Chemistry, and Calculus; Molecular and Cellular Biology; Genetics; Introduction to Programming; Data Structures; Discrete Math; Statistics. 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Professional goal statement. Letters of recommendation (optional).
