Leads to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree. Preparing students for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in a range of subjects including Advertising, Economics, Journalism, Law, Politics, Psychology and Sociology at a choice of UK universities.
On campus and online study options
This program is available to study either on campus or online – giving students the flexibility to choose what’s best for them.
If your student starts online and is then able to travel to the UK, they’ll be able to transfer to an on-campus program in January or March/April 2022. They’ll need to meet any visa requirements and demonstrate good attendance and performance during their studies online.
Key information
Develop independent study skills through a media project, with a choice of formats including dissertation, investigative report or media production.
Study key concepts and conventions in social sciences to encourage analytical thinking.
Analyse real-life problems from different perspectives to understand the complexity of the social world.
If your student applies for an Online Extended program, they’ll be offered an Online Academic English plus Online or on-campus academic pathway study plan.

Standard Course Requirement Age requirement 16 Academic requirements
Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades. English language entry requirements
3 Terms: IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum of 4.0 in all subskills) or equivalent. Applicants for the Social Sciences and Media pathway who wish to progress to Media will require IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
