The BA degree with a major in computer science provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in computer science. These courses provide the foundation necessary for a career in computer science. There are two concentrations in the BA, computer science and/or a minor from an approved field. The BA degree requires a minimum of 124 hours with 39-52 hours in computer science.
The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in computer science provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in computer science. These courses provide the foundation necessary for a career in computer science. During the sophomore year, a student selects one of several areas of concentration in order to meet specific goals. Students may choose a concentration program from business, science or computer science, or any approved minor in another discipline.
