Graduate Pathway program offering the academic foundation, essential language skills and GMAT/GRE test preparation to successfully move on to master’s degrees.
An INTO Illinois State University Graduate Pathway program in Information Systems will prepare the student to enter their next semester of a master’s degree program at Illinois State University.
  • Students can choose from four differing sequences: Geographic Information Systems, Internet Application Development, Network & Security Management and Systems Development.
  • Our coursework provides students with a solid conceptual foundation and hands-on experiences with the latest technologies. Graduates are well prepared for continuing professional growth.
  • Students can choose from one- to two-semester Pathway programs.
  • Students are fully admitted to Illinois State provided successful completion of conditional admission criteria at the end of the Pathway and submission of all required admission credentials.
  • A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university.
  • Students will benefit from fully integrated classes with both domestic and other international students on campus while learning from highly trained university instructors and tutors.

Students may also take placement tests and place out of courses. Class schedules built for each student's background. Students taking 7 prerequisite courses may need 2-3 additional courses after progression to the degree. There are 39 credits in the Information Systems degree.
