  • With specific modules focusing on criminology, your studies will not only give you a great legal qualification, but they will also open up fascinating career avenues within the criminological world too. Studying our degree will also mean you are prepared in part for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE 1) or to progress onto our Bar Practice Course (if you wish to qualify as a barrister).
  • This course focuses on key legal topics and a variety of different aspects of criminology, including crime, criminal justice and criminal behaviour. It’s an ideal choice if you’re looking to pursue a career in the legal sector or, more specifically, within the criminal justice system. In addition to studying key legal topics, you will also study Criminology modules which examine the nature of crime and how it operates. The course focuses on key concepts, such as the definition of crime and how it is perceived within society.
  • Studying this balanced combination of law and criminology means that you have a great choice of career options to choose from. Not only could you continue your studies to become a qualified lawyer, but you can consider careers in politics, journalism, business or criminal investigation and analysis.
