Our students are trained as knowledgeable computer engineers, experienced in the field of modern information systems, in the design and application of hardware/software for computer controlled devices, the application of both computer science, and engineering in the industry.

  • Graduates can work as computer engineers in the business sector, designing software applications and proposing solutions to problems, utilising advanced analysis and synthesis capabilities. They can use their combined computer science and engineering knowledge in both industry and business.
  • Graduates typically have strong oral and written communication skills and are team centred. They may also work as system analysts, computer programmers, communication network engineers, database managers, supervising engineers and computer security specialists.

Entry qualification 

  • High school / secondary education (or higher)
  • The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Turkish.
  • Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
  • You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Territory requirements 

  • Quota for the department is 4 ppl and is applicable for all the applications around the world.

Language requirements 
English

  • TOEFL IBT 78
  • CAE Grade B or above
  • Yasar University FLAT exam 65%

Other requirements 

  • At least 1 reference(s) must be provided.
  • A motivation letter must be added to your application.

Programme structure

  • In addition to the core courses related to Computer Science, Analysis, Software Development, Mathematics, Logical Design, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems and Computer Graphics, students are also offered such courses as Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Neural Networks. These specialised courses can differentiate graduates in the job market.
