Our students are trained as knowledgeable computer engineers, experienced in the field of modern information systems, in the design and application of hardware/software for computer controlled devices, the application of both computer science, and engineering in the industry.
Career opportunities
Graduates can work as computer engineers in the business sector, designing software applications and proposing solutions to problems, utilising advanced analysis and synthesis capabilities. They can use their combined computer science and engineering knowledge in both industry and business.
Graduates typically have strong oral and written communication skills and are team centred. They may also work as system analysts, computer programmers, communication network engineers, database managers, supervising engineers and computer security specialists.

In addition to the core courses related to Computer Science, Analysis, Software Development, Mathematics, Logical Design, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems and Computer Graphics, students are also offered such courses as Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Neural Networks.
