Find your engineering focus. All our engineering programs start with the same courses in first year so you can learn more about each field (civil, environmental, electrical, industrial and mechanical). Then choose an area of study for second year. You’ll receive guidance from our world renowned faculty, hands-on learning in a supportive environment and gain the skills needed for a successful career.

  • Sample Courses: Linear Algebra, Differential Calculus, Engineering Mechanics I, Engineering and the Profession, Engineering and Design
  • Career Tracks: Students may start their degree in General Engineering, but do not complete their degree in this program. Students must select a discipline before they begin their second year of studies.
  • Professional Designation Available: PEng (Professional Engineer)

  • Course Requirements: Advanced Functions/MHF4U, Chemistry/SCH4U, Physics/SPH4U. English/ENG4U.
  • Strongly Recommended: Calculus & Vectors/MCV4U
  • Minimum Average: 74% (74% in all math and science courses except Biology/SBI4U)
  • Mean Average (Entering Fall 2019): 85%
