Graduate Pathway program provides a direct path to various degrees. 1-Term, 2-Term and 3-Term options available, depending on English language level.
An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Chemical Engineering will prepare students to enter their next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University.
  • OSU has over 40 engineering student organizations including: The OSU Robotics Club, The Society of Women Engineers, Global Formula Racing, Engineers Without Borders and more
  • The Chemical Engineering program qualifies as a STEM major with a three-year OPT option.
  • Students can choose from one- or three-term Pathway programs.
  • Students are fully admitted to OSU provided successful completion of conditional admission criteria at the end of the Pathway and submission of all required admission credentials.
  • A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university.
  • Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program through a curriculum consisting of credit-earning courses.
  • Students will benefit from fully integrated classes with both domestic and other international students on campus while learning from highly trained university instructors and tutors.

Academic requirements

  • 2.5 GPA, Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Additional Entry Requirements: 1 year of Physics. Math through Differential Equations. Chemistry including General, Organic, and Physical.

English language entry requirements

  • 3 Terms: TOEFL 70, IELTS 6.0, Password 7, PTEA 48, IELA 169, Duolingo 95 or Completion of Academic English Level 5 with C or higher (or Pass grades).

  • 2.5 GPA, Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. Additional Entry Requirements: 1 year of Physics. Math through Differential Equations. Chemistry including General, Organic, and Physical. Complete courses below with a 2.5 average: Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering.

English language entry requirements

  • 2 Terms: TOEFL 80 (16 subscores), IELTS 6.5 (5.5 subscores), PTEA 53, IELA 176 (162 subscores), Duolingo 110 or Completion of AE Level 6 with C or higher (or Pass grades).
  • 45 credit hour program
