The Integrated Information Technology program is a leader in the areas of system design and implementation, network support and administration, database systems, website design and management, corporate training and development, health information technology, project management, technology innovation and change management.
As a student in the Bachelor of Science in Integrated Information Technology program, you will perfect your information technology and communication skills and develop an understanding of business and technological issues. You will receive in-depth instruction in five major areas, including computer networking, database systems, corporate training and development and end-user support.
You will also benefit from hands-on experience that bridges the gap between what you learn in the classroom and how you’ll have to use that learning in the real world. Through a senior capstone course, you will incorporate each core area while working with a real business to solve actual system issues and design the needed solutions. You will also complete an internship to gain additional hands-on experience.
