International Year One allows students to begin earning credits toward their degree even if they don’t meet the academic and English requirements for direct entry.
International Year One in Arts will prepare students to enter their next semester of a bachelor's degree program at Saint Louis University.

  • Secondary/high school degree or equivalent. 2.5 minimum GPA on a 4.0 scale.

English language entry requirements

  • 2 Semesters: TOEFL 60-74, IELTS 5.5, PTEA 44-49, IELA 162 (154 subscores in reading and writing), Duolingo 90-115, ACT 17 (English portion), SAT 480 (EBRW), or Completion of Academic English Level 4
