Build yourself a super degree by combining the power of game theory, financial tools and research. A mathematics and economics major teaches you to use, mathematics, economic tools and research data to make sense of the world. By analysing trends and patterns and building mathematical models, you can make forecasts and recommendations to help organizations improve their operations in ways that will benefit them financially and maybe bring benefits to humanity more broadly.

  • If you enjoy math or have strong math skills, you may be particularly well suited to the study of the math and economics major. This specialization involves the analysis and interpretation of variables and data that relate to individual organizations and the regional, national and global economy.he major in mathematics and economics requires the completion of at least 66 credits in economics, mathematics and statistics, of which a maximum of 30 credits must be at the upper level (3000 and 4000 levels) and no less than six credits must be at the 4000 level.
