Indicative annual fees are based on a full year full time load (80 units). The Master of Business Psychology is designed for graduates from a variety of disciplines seeking to advance their leadership and management skills from a psychological perspective to enhance performance and wellbeing out in the corporate business sector.

  • Graduates will develop an advanced understanding of human behaviour and how this can be applied to manage workplace relationships, as well as specialised skills in applied psychology and organisational behaviour in the workplace.
  • The Master of Business Psychology is a degree designed for professionals looking to advance their management skills from a psychological perspective. This degree focuses on people, personalities and relationships for effective business performance. The content of this degree focuses on applied psychology with specialised courses for the corporate business. Students will gain an understanding of human behaviour and how this can be applied to manage workplace relationships for performance outcomes. The degree is offered online or face to face to provide a flexible and supportive study environment and is also open to students from a non-psychology background. Those who have studied psychology courses or a psychology degree may be eligible for advanced standing. Please note that this program is not accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
  • The Master of Business Psychology program includes courses in both Semesters and Trimesters. The core courses are Semester-based and the majority of directed courses are Trimester-based. There are two Semesters and three Trimesters per year. Students in the Master of Business Psychology cannot choose to only enrol in Semester courses or Trimester courses for the length of their program. As shown in the Program Plan, each year students need to enrol in both Semester and Trimester courses.

Entry Requirements

Admission requirements

  • Students with a three year Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in a different discipline area (also called non-cognate discipline) to psychology are eligible to undertake the 160 unit program which can be completed in 2 years full time or 4 years part time.
  • Students with a three year Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in a psychology discipline (or cognate discipline) are eligible to undertake a 120 unit program which can be completed in 1.5 years full time or 3 years part time.
  • Students with a four year Bachelor (Honours) degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8) in a non-cognate discipline are eligible to undertake a 120 unit program which can be completed in 1.5 years full time or 3 years part time.
  • Students with a four year Bachelor (Honours) degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8) in a psychology discipline (cognate discipline) are eligible to undertake the 80 unit program which can be completed in 1 year full time or 2 years part time.
