On campus and online study options
- This program is available to study either on campus or online – giving students the flexibility to choose what’s best for them.
- If your student starts online and is then able to travel to the UK, they’ll be able to transfer to an on-campus program in January or March/April 2022. They’ll need to meet any visa requirements and demonstrate good attendance and performance during their studies online.
Key information
- Develop independent study skills through a media project, with a choice of formats including dissertation, investigative report or media production.
- Study key concepts and conventions in social sciences to encourage analytical thinking.
- Analyse real-life problems from different perspectives to understand the complexity of the social world.
- If your student applies for an Online Extended program, they’ll be offered an Online Academic English plus Online or on-campus academic pathway study plan.

Academic requirements
- Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.
English language entry requirements - 3 Terms: IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum of 4.0 in all subskills) or equivalent. Applicants for the Social Sciences and Media pathway who wish to progress to Media will require IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
