Get the exposure you need to different types of art forms, while enhancing your creativity and artistic outlook. This programme starts by teaching students about traditional art, its history and fundamentals; and then moves on to computer animation techniques and technologies.
- The Animation programme at Amity University Dubai will train you to transform your ideas into effective and attractive imagery. Students will learn and practice the various roles that go into the art production process of animation.
- A series of projects will be conducted over the 4-year period to build a students’ traditional and digital foundation. Amity University Dubai’s Media Lab is equipped with emerging tools and state-of-the-art facilities required to grow your skills and techniques.
- This comprehensive 4-year programme is designed to give students a deep understanding of the production and execution that goes into developing animation projects. The curriculum follows industry standards and focuses on developing a student’s core artistic skills and technical expertise.
- Throughout the course, you will gain in-depth knowledge about the various areas of animation. In the final year, students will also get the opportunity to work on an extensive project to showcase the technical capabilities learnt. From painting, sculpting, anatomical drawings, character designing and photography to 2D animation, digital imaging, script writing, stop motion, VFX and graphic designing; students will be ready to pursue a wide range of professions within the gaming, film and animation industry.
