Accounting and Taxation

The Accounting and Taxation program at the Vocational School of Near East University (NEU) is a two-year associate degree designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in accounting and taxation. The program covers fundamental accounting principles, taxation laws, financial record-keeping, and the use of accounting software, while also developing business communication and professional competencies. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles such as accounting assistants, tax clerks, and financial support staff in both public and private sectors, and they gain the foundation to pursue further studies in related bachelor’s programs. Emphasizing applied learning, the program equips students with the ability to interpret financial data, adapt to evolving regulations, and contribute effectively to organizational financial operations.
