Our Visual Arts program teaches you the fundamentals and then sets you free to pursue your own passion. We even offer seven semiprivate student studios for 24/7 work within our 33,000-square-foot Nielsen Center for Visual Arts.

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Art program offers a comprehensive exploration of visual arts, encompassing foundational skills and advanced studio practices. Students will engage with diverse mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and photography, alongside introductions to graphic design and museum studies. The curriculum progresses through critical analysis, specialized workshops, and culminates in a senior thesis and seminar, preparing students for professional careers or further academic pursuits in the arts.
