The biochemistry major explores the cross-disciplinary link between the natural world and artificial chemical processes. Biochemistry helps increase our understanding of disease, genetics, DNA, and evolution. Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry program provides a comprehensive foundation in the chemical and biological sciences. Students will engage with core subjects including general and organic chemistry, physics, and principles of cellular and molecular biology. The curriculum progresses to advanced topics in biochemistry, research methods, and culminates in a senior thesis, preparing graduates for advanced study or careers in scientific fields.
