Program Overview

The Biomedical Engineering program provides a comprehensive foundation in engineering principles applied to biological and medical challenges. Students will explore core subjects such as introduction to biomedical engineering, physiology, and biomechanics, alongside essential mathematics and physics courses. The curriculum progresses through specialized topics including biomaterials, transport phenomena, and numerical modeling, culminating in a two-semester senior design project where students tackle real-world biomedical engineering problems.
