As well as our three-year course, you can choose one of our four-year options. Opt for either a built-in placement year or a year studying abroad. You also get access to industry-standard facilities, like our Bloomberg Financial Markets Laboratory. Here, you practise trading in real time using databases like Bloomberg, Orbis and FAME. Plus, there’s our Business Lounge. It’s a professional space to meet industry networks, like-minded entrepreneurs, and our corporate partners.

Program Overview

This BSc (Hons) Financial Management with Placement Year program provides a comprehensive foundation in accounting, economics, and finance. Students will delve into financial reporting, management, and markets, alongside compulsory modules in quantitative methods, international finance, risk management, and portfolio management. The curriculum also explores broader business concepts, with optional modules allowing for specialization in areas such as fintech, entrepreneurship, and global economic issues, culminating in a practical placement year.
