This full-time, on-campus Masters degree is studied over two years, immersing you in Indigenous ways of being, learning, and teaching through interactions with Elders and cultural experts, including a cultural camp setting. You will examine the impacts of cultural concepts on program design and explore culturally relevant pedagogy through readings and discussions, analysing effective teaching practices and decolonization theories. You will graduate equipped to lead in areas such as Indigenization, decolonization, reconciliation, language revitalization, land-based education, and social policy development.
