The Master of Disability and Inclusion Studies at the University of Waikato is a postgraduate Masters Degree designed for professionals and scholars who want to drive social change through an intersectional, rights-based approach to disability. You will explore the social interactional model of disability, critically engaging with complex questions of identity, ableism, and human rights across the fields of education, law, and the social sciences. You will study this programme full-time on campus over 18 months, engaging with core papers in disability and inclusion alongside a significant research component in the form of a dissertation or thesis.
