The MEng Engineering and Entrepreneurship at the University of Exeter is designed for aspiring innovators who want to blend rigorous engineering principles with the practical skills needed to launch and lead new ventures. You will explore the dynamic intersection of technology, business, and product development, preparing you to tackle complex engineering challenges and bring novel solutions to market. This programme is ideal for students who are driven by a desire to create, build, and lead, offering a unique pathway to becoming a technically adept and commercially astute engineer.
Studied full-time on campus over four years, you will engage in a multidisciplinary curriculum that progresses from foundational engineering and entrepreneurship in Year 1 to specialised pathways in Manufacturing, Technology, Data Science, and more from Year 2. Your learning experience will be highly practical, featuring year-long group projects, design and build challenges, and the opportunity to develop and prototype scalable solutions. In your final year, you will choose between a Start-up Pathway to launch your own company with university support or an Innovation Pathway focused on a substantial individual research project, culminating in the Exeter Engineering Conference to showcase your work to industry professionals.
