This intensive, full-time, on-campus course is studied over nine months, from September to July, integrating academic learning with extensive practical experience. You will spend at least 120 days in two local secondary schools, gradually taking on teaching responsibilities under expert guidance, alongside foundational Intensive Training and Practice (ITaP) days. You will develop your understanding of educational and professional issues, learn to teach a knowledge-rich curriculum, and gain invaluable classroom experience. Upon successful completion, you will be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ready to embark on your career as a secondary biology teacher.
