The Secondary English Postgraduate Certificate (PGCE) at the University of Staffordshire is designed for aspiring educators passionate about fostering a love for language and literature in young minds. You will undertake this full-time, on-campus PGCE over one academic year, commencing in September and concluding in July. Supported by professional mentors and undertaking Intensive Training and Practice (ITaP) days, you will gradually build your teaching confidence, from observation to independent lesson delivery. You will graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recommendation and enhanced employability, ready to shape the next generation of readers and writers.
