Our Visual Arts program teaches you the fundamentals and then sets you free to pursue your own passion. We even offer seven semiprivate student studios for 24/7 work within our 33,000-square-foot Nielsen Center for Visual Arts.

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts program offers a comprehensive exploration of artistic principles and practices across various media. Students will engage in foundational studies in drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking, alongside introductions to digital photography, graphic design, and museum studies. Advanced coursework delves into specialized techniques, critical analysis, and professional development, culminating in a senior seminar and thesis project.
