Do I need a visa to study in Switzerland? If so, what type of visa do I need?
Non-EU residents are required to apply for a student visa to study in Switzerland. Within 14 days of arriving in Switzerland, you must register for a residence permit. Note that you must have a residence permit for your study period in Switzerland.
There are 3 types of residents permits:
- Permit L: For one year stay and can only be renewed once.
- Permit B: For one year stay with no renewal limit
- Permit C: For permanent residence

What are the requirements for studying in Switzerland?
The usual documents you need for enrollment are:
- Your passport with visa or residence permit.
